Your grin is a central component of your appearance. If it doesn’t look its best, it can affect your confidence and overall appearance. So, you have tooth stains but don’t know how to make your smile whiter in Naperville, Illinois. Professional teeth whitening from West Suburban Oral Health Care is a safe and reliable way to erase years of tooth discoloration. Dr. Susan Mazzei and the team offer several teeth whitening options to brighten your smile including an in-office or at home option.
Tooth discoloration causes your once-white teeth to turn yellow, dark, or brown. But why does this happen though I brush and floss my teeth? Your teeth are always under constant use. As the years go by, signs of wear and tear will show. As you age, your enamel thins down, exposing the yellow-colored dentin underneath. Besides aging, the other common offenders for discolored teeth include:
Typically, yellow-colored teeth respond very well to whitening treatment. However, due to intrinsic causes like dental trauma or thinned enamel, grey or brown teeth may not change dramatically after bleaching. Dr. Mazzei may recommend veneers or crowns to cover up your severely stained teeth for a better outcome.
You can easily be swayed by store-bought whitening products that promise dramatic results for a fraction of the price. DIY bleaching products are convenient and cheap but rarely produce the intended results, even after months of use. Worse yet, they can leave your smile damaged due to inexperience in usage.
We want you to try safe and effective whitening options for something as precious as your teeth. Our office provides the following clinically-tested options to whiten teeth:
You will be surprised by how convenient and affordable whitening your smile can be with Dr. Mazzei. Call 630-393-3045 to book an appointment with West Suburban Oral Health Care for professional teeth whitening. We can’t wait to see you dazzle the world with your stunning smile.
